Accounts and signing in
- You can browse everything without an account. An account only buys you a saved list and a resume position that follows you to another device.
- Sign in with Google, Discord, or an email and password. All three land on the same account if the email address matches, so switching method later does not fork your lists.
- Tick Remember me on the sign-in form and that account gets a tile on the "Who's watching?" screen next time. Sign out and the tiles come back; a tile is a shortcut, not a saved password — you still prove who you are.
- A tile that came from Google or Discord sends you straight back through that provider. A tile for a password account drops you into the sign-in form with the address filled in.
- Forgot a password? There is no reset link yet. Sign in with the Google or Discord address you used instead, or write to us and we will clear it.
My List and Continue watching
- The + on any poster adds it to My List. It is on the poster tiles and on the title page next to the genre tags.
- Pressing play records the title and the second you stopped at. The strip on the home page picks up from there, and it survives switching video source because the position is counted in seconds, not in anything the provider owns.
- Signed in, your lists sync to the account within a few seconds of the change. Signing out uploads one last time first — if that upload fails, the site tells you and keeps the lists on that device rather than throwing them away.
- Two people on one computer do not see each other's lists: the saved data is stored per account on the device.
Playback problems
- Blank or black player. The source is down or geo-blocked. Use the source switcher above the player — the number is how many are available for that title — and try the next one.
- Fullscreen button does nothing. Some sources refuse the browser's fullscreen request. The player falls back to a full-window mode; press the fullscreen control in the video itself, or use your browser's own fullscreen (F11 on desktop).
- A source will not start at all. Ad blockers and strict privacy extensions often block the embed domain. Pause the blocker for this site and reload the page.
- Pop-ups or a new tab when you press play. That comes from the third-party source, not from us. Close it, switch source, and consider a blocker that handles pop-ups.
- Audio out of sync or buffering. Switch source. The bitrate and the servers differ per provider and there is no quality control on our side of the frame.
Watch Together
- Start a party on a title page, then send the invite link. Everyone in the room plays, pauses and seeks together, and the voice channel opens when you unmute.
- Everyone in the room needs an account, including the guest.
- If a guest joins silent, the browser is holding the microphone back — the site needs microphone permission, and Chrome asks once per tab.
Language and subtitles
- The interface language is the globe control in the sign-in screen and in your account menu. It applies immediately and is remembered on the device.
- Subtitles come from the video source, not from us. Most embeds carry none; a few carry burned-in or selectable tracks. If a title needs subtitles, the honest answer today is that it depends on which provider has it.
Deleting your data
Sign out and clear site data to wipe the device. To remove the account itself, email support@texasflix.watch from the address on the account and say so — the account row and its synced lists go. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Still stuck
Write to support@texasflix.watch with the title, which source you tried, and what the screen did. A screenshot helps more than a description.
